Eric began his career in 1981 at Telephone Technology Inc. One of the first privately owned Interconnect companies to be born in the Cleveland area in the early 80’s. Later, to become Teleco and finally Telecomm Industries. Telecomm Industries was the largest, authorized “5-star” Ameritech dealer in Ohio. Eric became Operations Manager of the Voice Division. As Operations Manager, Eric was responsible for scheduling new installations, field engineer workload distribution, along with in-house technical and sales support of voice, data, and paging applications. He was also the project manager for installations while negotiating customer relations between TCMM, Ameritech and third party vendors. One most notable accomplishments as Operations Manager was successfully coordinating an installation and cutover of 500 phones and 600 Centrex lines.

In 1997, Eric moved to the Data Technician Division of Telecomm Industries. He became a large installation project manager, and gained a background in the installation, testing and maintaining of Cisco hardware,network switches,hubs,routers as well as Bay networks and Adtran equipment.

In 1999 Eric became a Sales Technician for the Compass Alliance. The Compass Alliance offered a complete package that included dedicated internet connectivity, WAN Connectivity,CSU/DSU’s,routers,hubs,switches,Microsoft Products,Network Security Products, Computer telephony hardware, cabling and custom software resulting in end-to-end solutions. Responsibilities at the Compass Alliance included chief technical representative for Xantel Connex. Also much exposure to AT&T, Security Dynamics, V-One, AdTran and Cisco. Mr. Klunder also installed, configured, maintained and troubleshooted the Xantel Connex System.

After being employed by the Compass Alliance, Eric was hired by Computer Telephony Concepts (CTC) as Lead Technician, only later to become Operations Manager. At CTC, worked on Microsoft NT and Windows 2000 based phone systems and the 3COM NBX. He was responsible for the assembly and installation of NT Servers, Altigen Software, and 3Com NBX Phone Systems. Throughout his employment at CTC, Eric gained additional knowledge of LAN/WAN,T1,PRI and VOIP technology.

He has also obtained superior wire management skills with DataComm Racks, Data Room Design, Grounding Techniques, Telco terminations, 66/110 and patch panel environments. Including Fiber Optic termination and testing. Eric brings with him extensive knowledge of voice and data cabling, connectivity termination, testing, maintenance and a substantial amount of supervisory skills.

Eric has been factory trained and certified for 3Com NBX 100 Sales and Support (Basic and Advanced), Altigen OE, Xantel Connex, Northern Telecom Meridian (Norstar), CICS, MICS, DR1-DR7.1, Flash Voice mail, Call Pilot and Companion Wireless, Toshiba (DK280, 424 and all Strata products), Cisco ICRC (Intro Cisco Routing and Configuration)and a wide array of 3rd party products and devices.
