Legacy Phone System Cleanup & Reorganization

Before:
An outdated MDF phone system had become overcrowded and difficult to manage after years of additions and changes. Excess cabling, inconsistent labeling, and poor organization made troubleshooting and future expansion challenging.

After:
All cabling was professionally re-terminated, relabeled, and reorganized to create a clean, efficient infrastructure. Cables were relocated onto a newly installed plywood backboard to shorten cable runs, improve accessibility, and maximize usable space on the lower portion of the frame for future growth and maintenance.

Data Room Rack Consolidation & Patch Panel Upgrade

Before:
Customer cabling was spread across the rear wall with limited organization and outdated connectivity methods. Network hardware placement was inefficient, resulting in wasted rack space and a cluttered data room environment.

Legacy Frame Restoration & Cable Management

Before:
This legacy customer frame had become oversized, poorly maintained, and difficult to service over time. Existing connections lacked proper organization and labeling, creating unnecessary complexity for troubleshooting and maintenance.

After:
All connections were re-terminated, retro connections were properly installed, and the entire frame was relabeled for improved identification and serviceability. Although older-style installations like this are less common today, similar cleanup and restoration projects are still occasionally required in legacy environments.

Nursing Home Network Cabinet Relocation

Before:
This installation, located inside a nursing home administrator’s office, suffered from failing hardware, poor cable management, and an overcrowded broken cabinet. Frequent network service issues were impacting reliability and daily operations.

After:
The entire installation was removed from the damaged cabinet and relocated into a professionally mounted wall rack positioned in the upper corner of the office. All network drops were terminated into a patch panel, providing a cleaner setup, improved reliability, easier troubleshooting, and greater flexibility for connecting and relocating devices as needed.
